Kim Christiansen, 9NEWS Anchor/Reporter, grew up in Colorado and graduated with a degree in Journalism from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and has worked with 9NEWS almost ever since. She currently serves as a co-anchor of the 4:00 broadcast at 9NEWS with Mark Koebrich. Kim has won four regional Emmy Awards for spot news, news writing, and news reporting. A former Miss Colorado, Christiansen is also devoted to the fight against breast cancer and is a strong supporter of hospice care, volunteering as emcee for Centura Health at Home’s annual Soup for the Soul fundraiser since 2000.
