Life-and-death medical crises are crucibles - places of severe test or trial. What must we know in order to minimize unnecessary shock and harm when in these circumstances? By role-playing an instructive end-of-life medical crisis you will become introduced to several key skills, including what to say to yourself, your loved one, and providers - and what you must hear from providers. This crisis role-play will reveal ethical conundrums, hidden resuscitation complications, how to function as an effective patient advocate, and how to protect precious moments.
